The help line could have been more helpful if they'd told me the gear set could be modified by filing the square hole in one of the gears.
Gear set is for a 5/16" shaft, my unit took a 3/8". So with a little filing on one of the gear holes I could make it work. The ordering process was confusing in that I could not change the $35.00 cost for shipping and handling to a cheaper method. So I ended up thinking I'd paid as much for the shipping as for the gear set until I received it and discovered it had been shipped for $9.31 via USPS instead of FEDEX. But once I got my VISA bill I found that I had only been billed for the $9.31 shipping.

I needed just the shaft gear for one of my freezers.  It came very fast and  will work just fine.  I hope someday to invest in a 20 quart freezer, too.

very nice gear set. I had to file out the square hole that the top of the freezer fits into. Just a bit of flashing. The gears mesh well and the unit spins smoothly
