works well June 25, 2014 Reviewer: Allen Banks from Elizabeth City, NC United States   Got my new freezer and put it to work that weekend. Worked great, my last one was a White Mountain and it did not last long. gears stripped out and latches broke. Great Product, Great Service June 1, 2014 Reviewer: David from Mt. Pleasant, NC United States   I ordered the 6 quart freezer after searching for years for a good hand-crank freezer with white oak bucket and solid construction.  These aren't the cheapest, but when you compare them to the construction of the mass produced varieties, it's well worth it.  It's a long-term investment. Service was prompt, and it arrived quickly for a gift to my wife.  In the first two weeks we have made 3 batches of ice cream for us and others, and it churns up some of the best homemade ice cream I've ever had.  I've been cranking wooden bucket freezers all my life, but this is the best I've used, and it shows in the finished product. great product May 27, 2014 Reviewer: Jess from Saint Thomas, PA United States   Shipping was fast and I received the freezer packaged very well.  I have not used it yet, as it was a gift for my mom, but the freezer looks VERY well built and looks like it will perform just as well.  There are no flimsy parts or loose fittings.  The wood bucket looks great.  I cannot wait to use it and make ice cream like we did years ago.  I'm also relieved to know if I would ever need anything for the freezer, I can buy parts from the Country Freezer Store.
