They do make them like they used to or better May 8, 2020 Reviewer: J. J. from Juniata County, Pennsylvania   After making ice cream for over 50 years I didn’t think that I would by another brand of freezer, but the competitors made in China motor is junk. What I thought would be the last freezer lasted close to 30 years before it stripped the pinion gear. I bought a replacement motor and it lasted only five years. This Country Freezer is a little over the top with everything stainless, because I never had a problem with rust with the can and dasher. At first I was skeptical about the one piece dasher, but it works. Is this freezer worth the money?  I don’t buy ice cream in the grocery store, and I can’t wait until I use it again. Grape nut or Cherry Vanilla, looks like we are going to be buying another can and dasher. You never can have to much ice cream. Was this review helpful to you?

Glad I found country freezer October 8, 2019 Reviewer: Chris Adams from Valdosta, GA United States   I've owned 6 white mountain churns with electric motors for the last year and had to get all 6 motors replaced in that year, and an additional 4 replaced a second time! Right out of the box I could tell the quality difference in the country freezer. It's not even a comparison. Country freezer puts off half the noise level. The SS churn and Dasher are much much higher quality. The churn is more efficient at making ice cream and turns out a better product than the white mountain. If your trying to choose between the 2 I promise you the extra money spent is well worth it. With White Mountain you can barely understand customer service. With country freezer you speak to a gentleman that you can tell has poured his passion into what he's selling. Country Freezer has a life long customer here. Already looking to buy a second one. 8 qt Electric Freezer September 21, 2019 Reviewer: Leroy Northup from Lincoln, Nebraska   Called and talked to Tom, I asked him how quick he could get a Freezer to Lincoln NE, he said he thought 3 days. I ordered it on Wednesday morning and had it Friday afternoon. This guy is awesome. Thank You Tom. The Freezer looks to be of excellent quality, probably better made than my 30 plus year old USA made 6 quart White Mountain freezers. Was this review helpful to you?

Freezer October 18, 2018 Reviewer: Phillip Zimmerman from Frederick, MD United States   No complaints at all. Works great. It would be nice to know that the unit is already greased and not shipped dry. Also, is there any possibility that you might consider shipping corks for the can lid and tub to plug these holes when packing. General constrction and attention to detail when assembling takes me back to a time when pride ruled our work. The motor and motor mounting are really special, and powerful. 8 Qt electric ice cream maker June 27, 2018 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Chapman, ME United States   We make ice cream to donate to various functions. To save time we upgraded from the 6 qt to this 8 qt. It made a difference. My wife likes the clear plastic cover. It allows her to see how it’s progressing. Makes short work of 2 gallons.
